Over 90% of Ukrainian citizens support the Armed Forces – not only in words, but also with hryvnia, dollars or cryptocurrency, and every fifth does it systematically.
This is proved by the results of a research conducted by the consulting and auditing company Deloitte in Ukraine. According to the research, 90% of Ukrainians noted that they donate to help the Armed Forces and/or those affected by the war. Every fifth respondent admitted that they help systematically, every fourth – sometimes, and the rest – from time to time.
“Everything for the sake of victory” has become a slogan for most citizens. In order to be able to transfer funds to the Armed Forces, many Ukrainians are saving: 86% noted that they began to attend entertainment events (concerts, cinemas, etc.) less often, 81% appear in cafes and restaurants less often, 66% have reduced the use of taxis, 79% save on clothes, 70% – on food.
At the same time, 71% of respondents reported that they are boycotting the products of companies that still operate in the market of the aggressor country.
Overall, even a year after the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainians are still united, determined to defeat the enemy, and ready to limit their consumption for the sake of this goal.
